Descendants of Klaas Sijmonsz MOLENAAR (DEKKER) &Antje BRUIJN
|

This Descendant Journal contains all the descendants of Klaas
Sijmonsz MOLENAAR (1730-1857) and Antje Pieters BRUIJN
(1731-1887) that I have been able to identify to-date. Klaas and Antje were
married in Egmond-Binnen, Noord-Holland, The Netherlands. They had at least
five children, four born in Heiloo, Noord-Holland and the fifth one was born
after the family relocated to Egmond-Binnen where apparently the family
changed their surname to DEKKER. Pieter Klaasz
DEKKER, was their great grandson  and is the subject of the Pedigree Chart below.

A view of Egmond Abbey, Egmond-Binnen, Noord-Holland, by
Claes Dircksz van der Heck in 1638.

The Benedictine abbey was founded by Dirk I circa 925. It was laid waste during
the Dutch Revolt in 1573.

This Pedigree Chart is a portion of a larger chart
encompassing all the currently discovered Ancestors of  Cornelis Jan
'Case' VANDERPLAS, son of Jan Cornelis 'John' van der PLAS and Christina 'Stien' GUTTER.
He was born in Schoorl. NH, and emigrated to Canada in 1949. Case maried
	Katherine WATSON and they
	live in Oakville, Ontario.
  This branch is on
Case's paternal side and represents the DEKKER MOLENAAR
Ancestors. Sijmon MOLENAAR is the extent of the
	DEKKER MOLENAAR
Line that I have been able to find to-date.
